Description:

Springs of Life Church and Children’s Centers are following a unique ministry model that needs the help of a gifted Administrative Pastor with strong analytical and business skills. The primary outreach of our church is through 2 large children’s centers, which exist solely to influence youth and their families for Christ. For this reason, we are looking for an Admin Pastor who is both spiritually minded and business trained.

Our new Administrative Pastor should be an entrepreneurial person with an authentic call to ministry.  Spiritual skills needed:  heart for outreach and a desire to mentor/disciple an administrative team in both business and spiritual life.  Technical skills needed:  skilled in operating Windows computers, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced skills in Excel, fast at data entry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will report directly to the Senior Pastor, and will oversee the work of 10 to 12 administrative staff in various areas of our ministry. These areas of oversight include Church Finances, Children’s Center Finances, Front Desk Administration, Enrollment, Information Technology, and other shared Pastoral Duties. 

1. Church Finances and Administration (Direct Responsibility)

  • Oversees the financial health of the organization
  • Prepares monthly EOMs for, and informs, Leadership and Board.
  • Oversees Accounting Processes
  • Payroll, bill paying and Insurances
  • Oversees normal Church Admin

2. Children’s Center Finances (2 staff)

  • Oversees annual budget of $2.5 million
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting
  • Family Accounting - Monitoring payments of 200+ families
  • Communications with families

3. Front Desk Administration (2 staff)

  • Oversees Front Desk “Site Administration”
  • Daily reporting and administration for typical school
  • Front desk team acts as liaison to serve 200+ families

4. Enrollment (3 Staff)

  • Oversees Enrollment team and closely monitors enrollment trends
  • Process and manage new applicants to maintain full programs
  • Dept. answers phones/emails, gives tours and processes applications

5.  Information Technology (1 Staff)

  • Manages I/T Director
  • Requires basic I/T knowledge (doesn’t need to be an area of expertise)

6. Shared Pastoral Duties

  • Requires a call to ministry
  • Discipling, building, encouraging, and training staff
  • Leads a small group
  • Shared Sunday Service Responsibilities with Pastoral Leadership Team
     

COMPENSATION, HOURS & BENEFITS

  • $41,600 to $57,200 DOE, to start
  • Full-time, Salaried Position
