Description:

We are an Evangelical Christian Church with a large and growing Outreach to At-Risk Kids in central Colorado Springs. In addition to the church and it's ministries, we also operate 2 Children’s Centers with about 65 staff serving 325 children ages 6 weeks - 13 years.

This is a church staff position, and applicants must be willing to become active members of Springs of Life Church. We are primarily looking for individuals with an active faith in Christ and a life pattern of involvement in church and ministry.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Springs of Life Church is following a unique ministry model that needs the help of gifted administrators. Our Admin team is comprised of 5 departments (Site Admin, Finance, Enrollment, HR, and Youth/Children’s Program Administration) with approximately 15 staff. Our new Finance Administrator needs to have an established heart for ministry and strong administrative skills, as all our administrative roles are either regularly scheduled or are on a back-up basis. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to serve the Lord in direct ministry, with a heart for youth, but with primarily finance administrative gifts.*

The ideal candidate should have strong Excel, Word, Google Docs and email/internet skills. They must also be able move at a fast pace with data entry, computers and administrative tasks. More than anything, they must love the Lord Jesus with all their heart and desire to serve Him in direct ministry.

FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR ROLES:

  • Client Billing
  • Collections
  • Account Reconciliation
  • Financial reports
  • State billing and contract management
  • Involvement with and oversight of Front Desk / Site Administration team

BACK-UP CLASSROOM SUPPORT ROLES:

  • Driving and/or assisting in leading a group of school age children for part of the afternoon
  • Building relationships with kids, parents and staff members
  • Opportunities for direct outreach and discipleship of Children/Youth through AWANA, VBS, Ranch Camps, etc.

COMPENSATION:

  • $13 - $17/hr, DOE
