Description:

Springs of Life Church (SLC) and Children’s Centers are following a unique ministry model that needs the help of a gifted Youth Pastor with strong administrative, relationship building, and team leadership skills. Our new Youth Pastor should be an entrepreneurial person with a heart and call to ministry, but also with a real desire to lead and grow a youth ministry through managing and building a large school age youth program. 

This position encompasses a combination role of Youth Pastor plus School Age Program (SAP) leader. The SAP is the primary evangelistic outreach of SLC, and we see 150+ kids/year give their lives to Christ.  The Youth Pastor / SAP Director leads a team of 12-15 staff which serve 200+ youth on a daily basis.  The ideal candidate will have experience with leading a youth outreach team, or extensive experience on such a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will report directly to the Assistant Pastor and will be the key leader in managing the SAP program, SAP Administration, and Youth Ministries.

1. SAP Program

  • Program planning and development
  • Running and/or Supervising daily schedule and activities for a 12-15 staff team
  • Implementing center and state rules and regulations regarding school-age programs
  • Ensuring a safe program environment for 200+ kids

2. SAP Administration

  • Oversees all required state and church administration for the program
  • Manages files, data entry, cleaning, and organization.
  • The ideal candidate would have established organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficient in the use of computer technology and use of common programs including Google Applications.

3. Youth Ministry

  • The successful candidate will have significant ministry experience and a heart for seeing kids come to know the Lord. This is our highest priority in all we do.
  • Building relationships with kids, parents and staff members.
  • Leading or being on our leadership team for all youth outreaches - specifically our Wednesday night events

COMPENSATION:

  • $35K - $45K/yr, DOE

HOURS:

  • Full time (schedule TBD)
