Description:
We are an Evangelical, Christian organization with a large and growing Outreach Ministry to At-Risk Kids in central Colorado Springs. We do this through our two Children's Centers, with about 60 staff and 300 children, ages infants -13yrs old.
This is a ministry staff position and applicants must have an active faith in Christ as well as a life pattern of involvement in their local church and ministry. (For more information and our statement of faith, you can find us on the web at Springsoflife.org.)

DETAILS:
- $16 - 19/hr DOEE- Summer: May 27th through August 8th, 2025 (with training May 19th, 20th and 21st)
- Full Time, Monday through Friday, (exact schedule TBD) with opportunities for overtime.
SUMMER DUTIES:
- Leading a School-Age summer camp group of 15 kids (ages 5-13 years)
- Implementing daily schedule
- Running and/or Supervising daily activities
- Implementing Center and State rules and regulations regarding school-age summer camp programs
- Ensuring a safe program environment for summer camp kids
- Meal service (breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are served at the center daily)
- General Clean-Up of Classroom throughout the day and at day's end
- Being involved in, and inviting children to attend, ministry outreaches (AWANA, VBS, Ranch Camps, etc)
- Attending Staff Fellowship nights
QUALIFICATIONS (required ):
- A love for kids
- A heart for seeing kids (and their families) come to know the Lord. This is the highest priority in all we do
- A desire to work in a non-profit ministry/outreach in Jesus' name
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have at least three (3) months of full-time or equivalent part-time (480hrs) satisfactory and verifiable experience with school-age children
- Must be 1st Aid & CPR qualified, or willing to get qualified (SLCC pays for this certification if you don’t already have it)
- Must be able to handle large amounts of physical activity (sports and walking excursions with kids)
- Must be reliable/dependable/punctual, with a good work ethic and work history
